  • As a doula, Carter is here to listen, educate, feed, empower, and nurture in support of the mother baby dyad. Through education, hands-on support, emotional tending, whole food nourishment, herbal remedies, bodywork, and energy work, she provides comprehensive and connective care within your prenatal and postpartum seasons. Each of her postpartum clients receives holistic care that includes: 

    • 2 in-home prenatal sessions

    • 4+ in-home 4 hour postpartum sessions

    • 2+ seasonally and locally curated meal drop offs​​​​

    • On-call support from 38 weeks through our postpartum time together

    It’s integral to who I am and what I offer that every mother is met where she is, with what she needs. In order to provide services that are in perfect alignment with every family’s needs and abilities, I am more than happy to discuss options personalized to you.


  • As a holistic nutritionist, Carter is here to guide you within yourself and towards optimal health through a lens of bioindividuality, curiosity, nourishment, science, sensation, and education. We each hold an innate ability to deeply nourish ourselves and her practice is rooted in getting people into their beautifully unique bodies in real time and allowing for the answers to “How am I feeling in my body?”and  “What does being nourished feel like to me?” guide our way together. She works 1:1 with clients to explore their current health, diet, and lifestyle and provide synergistic support beginning from the root and expanding towards a nourished and nourishing life through every season.

  • Carter act as a bridge between farmers, chefs, and community through her role as a farmer’s market buyer. She has experience sourcing for restaurants, grocers, chefs, and families, and currently sources for New York Times and Eater recognized restaurant, Honey Hi. This brings her to the bounty of the Santa Monica and Hollywood farmer’s markets each week and in turn, welcomes the most nutrient dense, flavorful produce to hands and plates across Los Angeles.

  • As a children’s educator, Carter offers workshops, camps, and private gatherings rooted in connecting children to the worlds of food and nourishment through the lenses of creativity, curiosity, and connection. Multi-sensory, hands-on activities include gardening, culinary basics, kitchen skills, baking, preservation, herbalism, and edible art. Carter has curated, led, and taught workshops to over 150 students at community spaces and schools including Little Green Art Studio, Forager Crafts, and Growing Place, as well as supported The Ecology Center’s enrichment program set on their regenerative farm.

  • Carter develops and prepares weekly menus for private clients centered within bioindividuality, seasonality, and nutrient density and specializes in local, whole food, and postpartum nourishment. Carter sources all ingredients from local farmers that she knows personally and curates her menus based on the ever-evolving seasons of California, as well as the personal needs, goals, and intentions of the individual or family she is serving.
